dungeon synth delver.

css you unknowable thing.

i thought about medium. i really did. i posted a few times there back in the 2010's i think. i could look but i don't want to. there was an obligation there, to post something smart. something informative. to be seen as useful.

bluesky mostly curbed that. i felt like i could microblog about the games i enjoyed. it's mostly world of warcraft these days. but the posting style doesn't allow for more long-form content.

rejected feature ideas. things pitched a little too late or not SEO worthy.

things i want to talk in earnest. mmo communities. the day to day. music i like. podcasting.

things that are nonsensical and on the verge of personal.

i want to share art of my world of warcraft ocs. i want to share my band of the week. the songs i just can't get out of my head. that kind of thing. and the return to blogging just seems logical.

the days of livejournal, and subsequently tumblr, aren't too far away. and sometimes you just want to post without any kind of obligation or immediate feedback to whatever it is you're writing. or you just want to write something so outside of your immediate writing style. or a style guide for a website.

sometimes you wanna write for fun!

but my god. i wish i had kept some of my knowledge on myspace and tumblr of the dozens of custom layouts i made for myself in HTML and CSS. because i want this blog to look a certain way. i want to make little banners with artwork or overprocessed and grainy images of mountains and oceans and forests. (i want it to look like my world of warcraft oc carrds ok.)

so i guess i'm going to dedicate time to that while i skim through code and adjust as necessary.
